2nd day – Redlands downtown

Second day in Redlands, feel like its been a week here. I woke up early as we plan to walk around redlands town. We had a breakfast and took the free shuttle service to the citrus mall area. Its about 10 mnts drive from the hotel. Pretty neat place and new area. I can see lots of big shop building, very interesting look and design. I always like to see this type of building hehe, cause we dont have it here. We normally have a big gigantic shopping mall or links shoptlots. We went to Target groceries store to buy mineral water as no water heater in the room. I think our carrefour have more varieties stuff  in it. I cant even find 3 in 1 of any drinks at all.

Once we got our stuff, we ask for shuttle to pick us up. They been nice to us hehe. We go up to the room and stay in for a while as Poh Choo sleeping again. She’s still not use with the time changes i guess. about 1 pm, we ask Sandy to send us to the downtown. She showed us the walking path, its about 20 mnts walk only from hotel, but the road to the downtown is really quiet.

We get down at Cajon st. I’ts interseting to see the shops building. All one storey only. Down here i took pics at Mozarts shop. Full of classic, beads and antiques items. Finally i got to see the newspaper machine hehe.

  

I bet Rafiee will go crazy looking at those cute tea sets. This pic especially for u Peah hehe. Then, we go into “the eating room” as recommended by Sandy as the best sandwich shop in the town. I order tuna melt, big portion but not so good as i thought :P. Its been 2 days eating bread and fish.. i feel wanna puke already. Need to find thai food tomorrow.

We walk to Redlands mall after that. Hmm they are having out of business sales. Sales up to 90%, very cheap but nothing really interesting or “fit” to my fats body :p

 

Around 4 o’clock we walked back to hotel as Poh Choo already tired and wanted to sleep… haish, im so frustrated. This is the moment i wish syareena n rafiee is here, sure we will explore every street and every shop and wont complained about the heat, distance and how tired to walk here and there. Belo is the last shop we went. Its really cute,  its an antic shops.

On the way back, i manage to take the pic below. U can see high brown mountains, no trees at all i guess. We arrived at hotel around 5pm. I cant believe i walked around for 3-4 hours only!

Above all, i feel exciting walking around the town. Tomorrow i have another day to walk around. Plan to go to the new town and relax there :D.

By the way, the conclusion i get for today is – damn, there’s lots of cute guys and obese people in Redlands!!
