a Week Of enjoyment
Last week was the week of enjoyment for me! I have so much fun going to Singapore and then straight to Redang Island. I went to Singapore for the ArcLogistic training. Kind of scary at first cause its my first time going abroad and i'm all alone.
I have no problem getting to Singapore -thank God-, their taxi is so expensive, the halal food is so hard to find, not many Malays can be seen, so safe, so clean, the road is wide, taxi so canggih, MRT ticket also canggih, people is friendly, barang is so murah (dont kira the xchange ratela), not as busy as KL, overall Singapore is good. :P
My training is fine, a few of ESRI distributor joined the training - Australia, Singapore, Japan, China, Sri Lanka and Thailand. All of them r already expert in logistic, far more advance then ESRI Malaysia n Singapore, kind of malu also hehehe.. they all into development unlike ESRI Malaysia. The training makes me want to open my own company,to develop as well as sell the logistic software n services in Malaysia hahaha.
I sempat visited a few places in Singapore - The Merlion area, Esplanade, Singapore riverside, Orchard Road and China Town. It's really fun, but not much different from KL though.
On the last day in Singapore, was kind of kelam kabut for me cause i'm out of schedule to reach Johor on time. I end up with a very long que at the bus stop, waiting almost 1 hour to get a bus to JB. Reach the check point at 8.30pm and stupidly i just follow people and i end up crossed the 'Tambak Johor' hahaha... i'm so clumsy, but well what the hell, i dont want to miss the JB bus!! I took taxi sapu n went to Larkin which is 15 mnts far for RM20! Phewww... at least i arrived on time :D.
Then my journey to Redang island started!!
I met Syareena n Rafiee at the bus station, Redang Holiday van already there waiting for us. We reached Kuala Merang jetty after 30 mnts of driving and another 45 mnts to redang Island. The beach is so beautiful! the weather is extremely hot, not many tourist as before but still i can see chineese everywhere. We headed to our Chalet and they serve us with welcome drinks :P.
The chalet is just ok, no wardrobe & no mirror in the room except in toilet. The rest is just ok :P. Without wasting our time, we changed cloths and jumped into the sea :D. It's heaven, the water is so crystal clear, blue, white sandy beach!! We went for snorkeling at Pulau Lima in the afternoon.
After snorkeling - tea break - bath - dinner , we went to the other side of the beach. It's more happening there, Redang Beach Resort having a birthday party and they prepare a fireworks for her. So we just sit there enjoying the fireworks and the music while chit chat. We really have so much fun! Then we lay down on the beach, watching stars and shooting stars, this is the first time i saw a shooting stars.. it's beautiful. We just talk until 3 am in the morning.
The next day, i woke up early as usual, me n rafiee went for breakfast n the Kuey teow is so delicious! Syareena slept untill 12pm! Only me and Rafiee swimming on the beach, walking n took pics, lepak at Redang bay resorts and sleeping on the swing... The best part is, i saw a shark near the beach!! it's just a baby sharks.
We went back to the Resorts for lunch and take bath and again, walking along the beach for photography session hehehe..we r camera freak hahaha. The wheather is so xtremely hot n that's why we r so black now :p. We went for another snorkeling session at Kalong area, not much fish, but i saw a new fish - like todak kind of fish , its a trumpet fish.
After the tea break, we went snorkeling at the shark point infront of Redang lagoon chalet n there we saw 3-4 sharks! a big 1. More colourful fishes too. Then we just lay down on the beach having fun chitchating as usual.
The boring part is, its raining at night - not a heavy rain though just renyai2 :( i wanna lepak at Redang Coral for drinks and listening to the musics but somehow Syareena n Rafiee r soooooo scared to walk anywhere with that kind of weather!!! I'm kind of pissed off :P.. so, Rafiee end up wearing a mask n sleep, Syareena and i lepak at the Redang Bar, but its really lousy bar cause they dont have English songs karaoke at all!!! so i had to go back to the room and thank god, our neighbour - Alister a spanish guy was lepaking outside his room. So Syareena n i end up talking with Alister and abang Joe the snorkeling guide until 2.10 am. At least, my night not really wasted. Alister, he's really a funny guy and he told us a lot about spain, he's risk adventures n he's 4 months journey in Asia. I wish i can do that too. :(
So, our final day at Redang, had a nice breakfast, yeah i think RM397 for food, accomodation, snorkeling+equipment, transport from Jetty to bus station n the boat its so worth it!!! Bus from JB - Terengganu n Terengganu - KL is just RM63.90. So we spent less than RM500 for this spectacular holiday. Awesome!
While waiting for our 9.30pm bus, we went to the Crystal Mosque, and went to the Tamadun Islam Park where they build the replicas of historic n wellknown mosque in the world. It's a brilliant idea!! Now many of us did appreciate or know the existence of those mosque, so with this park it can create awareness about Islam's empire too.
At night we went to Floating Mosque and had dinner at Ibai. That's the end of our awesome vacation!!! I really wanna do a yearly trip to Redang hehehe.. Rm500 is sooo worth! I missed Redang :( and missed my little squirel too :p
