6th day – Las America

Early in the morning we walked to the Convention centre, about 5 mnts walk. It’s sunday so the street is pretty empty and lonely. Pic below is a begger, can u imagine a begger do have their own mini tricycle bikes. He just sit there and listen to his radio. Ofcourse there are homeless people,most of  them are very old.

 

The convention centre situated at the bay area and infront of it is the Gaslamp area, lots of nice building n couples of high buildings. The convention centre is huge and long probably 1km i guess. The Esri banner behind me;

  

We went there for early registration then we walk at the Gaslamp area where they have lots of interesting restaurants and shops. They have strip club restaurant too as shown below. But i dont go in there, maybe next time hehe.

 

U see the pic above, i would love to try that! but it  cost $75 per day rental :( it must be fun riding that. Bike rental is expensive too, $25 per day. Then we took trolley (tram/train) to Las America place, situated at the Mexico border. So this place is full of mexican. It’s actually a factory outlet places where they sell very cheap price for branded items.

The red train is the trolley. Then we took bus to the Las America area. There are lots more shops near that area. Heaven for shopaholics. too bad we arrived there pretty late – 12 pm. It tooks 30mnts to get here from our hotel.

I like the design of the building, the area is really big, we couldn’t manage to go to everyshop as it close at 7 on Sunday. The nike store sells pretty good price ad yes they have discounts and another discounts on top of that. I spent lots of time at Levis store. The price here is about $29.90 and at town or other place the price is $35 or more. I bought like 3 more Levis 2 for me and another 1 for Nurul. Then i bought a Nike shirts $20 for 2 and good quality. If only i have lots more money to shop!

The best discount is the Coach begs. $200 beg sales at $99 only. I just cant believe Coach is expensive! I didnt buy anything cause the design n the price is not worth it at all. But Poh Choo bought 2 items there.

Around 8 we get back to Trolley and reach home. Eat at Sushi restaurant. I have lots to say in here actually but i dont have time to write. So this is pretty much i can write now.

I have great time in Las America, next time i will bring more money hehe
